JJ will no longer be doing hair but will be continuing her massage therapy at Chez Gabirelle Health and Beauty.

It is with bittersweet emotions that after 38 years Elite Hair Design will be leaving the 2260 Palm Ave location in San Mateo as of December 31, 2023.

We have all enjoyed so much the memories and life moments and conversations we had there - and look forward to all of the new ones yet to come!

We are continuing to use the same booking system, so you will continue to receive the same appointment notifications and confirmations.

How do I prepare for a curly haircut?

Your stylist will use the signature dry-cutting technique. PLEASE ARRIVE TO YOUR APPOINTMENT WITH YOUR HAIR: FULLY DRY, DOWN AND DETANGLED.

FOR THE BEST RESULTS IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUR STYLIST TO SEE YOUR HAIR IN IT’S NATURAL STATE………IT IS OK TO HAVE LIGHT STYLING PRODUCTS.

Prior to your appointment, it’s best to let your hair hang loosely—avoid ponytail holders or clips.
